About Amy Thierer

Amy has been working professionally since the early 1980's.  She specializes in original designs both in calligraphy and stained glass.  Her work can best be characterized by a strong tie to nature, math/science, and spirituality.  As her work has progressed, there is a stronger reach toward abstraction and a continued interest in the inclusion of natural object.  A sense of humor and fun are also strong elements in her work.

She is happiest creating an original piece of art to mark special occasions or just for fun!  

 

She lives and works in the Baltimore area with her family close-by.
